Chinese manufacturer Oppo has officially unveiled its new high-end True Wireless in-ear headphones, the Oppo Enco X4. Developed in partnership with Danish acoustic specialist Dynaudio, they feature a dual-driver and dual-DAC architecture, AI-controlled active noise cancellation (AI Real-Time Adaptive ANC), LHDC Lossless lossless audio compatibility up to 48 kHz/24 bits, as well as Bluetooth 6.1 connectivity and a record battery life of up to 53 hours.
Designed to accompany users on their commutes and travels, the new Oppo Enco X4 wireless earbuds focus on sound reproduction faithful to the original recording. Building on seven consecutive years of collaboration with Dynaudio, they also offer five exclusive sound profiles adapted to different music genres so that everyone can personalize listening to suit their preferences.
Oppo Enco X4: dual driver, dual DAC and LHDC Lossless compatibility
At the heart of the Oppo Enco X4 is a latest-generation dual-driver acoustic system. It combines a 11 mm bass driver with a TRF diaphragm and a 6 mm tweeter with a planar diaphragm for the highs. Each driver has its own high-performance digital-to-analog converter (DAC), making it possible to independently process the different frequency ranges and deliver increased acoustic energy across the entire audio spectrum.

Certified [abc]Hi-Res Audio[/abc] Wireless, the Enco X4 are also the brand’s first True Wireless earbuds to support lossless audio. Paired with a smartphone from the Oppo Find X10 series, they ensure end-to-end lossless wireless transmission via the LHDC [abc]Lossless[/abc] codec (up to 48 kHz/24 bits with a bitrate of up to 2.3 Mbps). To enhance immersion for both music and films, a cross-platform spatial audio feature (Cross-Ecosystem Spatial Audio) compatible with Android, iOS and Windows is also included.
Oppo Enco X4, AI Real-Time Adaptive ANC noise reduction and AI Clear Call calls
On the sound-isolation side, the Oppo Enco X4 introduce an active noise-cancellation system based on three microphones, a 6 nm neural processing unit (NPU), specially designed ear tips to reduce pressure on the ear, and new intelligent algorithms. The result is improved overall attenuation performance of up to 100% compared with the previous generation (the Oppo Enco X3s), particularly effective against constant background noise from trains, buses or taxis. Still difficult to filter out in public spaces, vocal frequencies benefit from 30% greater reduction.

For its part, AI Real-Time Adaptive ANC automatically adjusts noise reduction and transparency levels in real time according to the detected environment (subway, bus, taxi, airplane). For voice calls in crowded places or on public transport, the AI Clear Call feature combines the three microphones with a bone-conduction voice pickup unit (VPU) to precisely isolate the user’s voice.
Oppo Enco X4: Bluetooth 6.1, Google Gemini, AI features and 53 hours of battery life
Beyond music playback, the Oppo Enco X4 are also aimed at video content creators through the Clear Audio Recording feature (optimized by Dolby and designed for Oppo Find X smartphones, notably the Find X10), which captures immersive stereo sound that naturally conveys the space and direction of sounds. Connectivity is based on Bluetooth 6.1, supported by Smart Bluetooth technology (on compatible Oppo and OnePlus devices) and simultaneous multipoint connection to two devices from different ecosystems.

Artificial intelligence also comes into everyday use with AI Live Translation (on ColorOS 15.0.1 or later), which provides real-time translation and interpretation in more than 30 languages. The Enco X4 are also the manufacturer’s first earbuds to integrate hands-free voice activation of Google Gemini via the “Hey Google” command. Finally, they include the Neck Monitoring feature to alert the user in the event of prolonged poor neck posture. Certified IP55 against water and dust, the earbuds offer up to 13 hours of battery life on a single charge, and up to 53 hours in total with the charging case (in AAC, at 50% volume and with ANC disabled).
The Oppo Enco X4 True Wireless earbuds will be rolled out gradually in various markets around the world. The exact release date and suggested retail price for France will be announced later by the manufacturer.
