Atelier Eclipse 01: the premium furniture dedicated to the Xgimi Aura 3 ultra-short-throw projector

The very young French brand Atelier Éclipse unveiled itself in Paris this weekend at the PAVS 2026 show with the Éclipse 01 (cf. photo below), its first high-end audiovisual piece of furniture. Designed as a true exceptional piece of furniture, it was custom-made to house, ventilate, and showcase the recent Xgimi Aura 3 ultra short throw video projector, thus combining total integration and a truly grand spectacle.

No more technical equipment and cable clutter ruining the living room. With the Éclipse 01, the promise is to reconcile lovers of very large images and interior design enthusiasts. The French company has taken the approach of not simply hiding equipment in an existing drawer, but designing its furniture from the very first sketches around its cinematic use. Proportions, choice of materials, meticulous joinery, the piece proudly claims its status as a design object where technology naturally fades away.

Custom Éclipse 01 unit for the Xgimi Aura 3 Atelier Éclipse’s DNA is entirely based on expertise in ultra-short-throw video projection (UST for Ultra Short Throw). While the very short throw ratio of these projectors makes it possible to obtain a giant image with minimal distance, their integration remains often problematic in a living room and more generally in interior design. The real strength of the Éclipse 01 therefore lies in its exclusive design around the Xgimi Aura 3 series (see our news on Xgimi Aura 3 Max, Aura 3 Pro + ALR screen pack: Kickstarter price update). The dimensions of the niche, the ventilation flow essential for cooling the light source, and the millimeter-perfect positioning of the chassis were studied to guarantee optimal projection as soon as it is installed, avoiding tedious geometric adjustments.

Audio integration and invisible cable passages In addition to the image, sound and connectivity benefit from the same care. The unit is indeed designed to accommodate speakers in compartments whose cover simply needs to be lifted on each side of the projector (see photo above). And so that the illusion is perfect and the installation clinically clean, cable grommets are integrated. Taking attention to detail to its peak, the creators even made sure that the rear legs are hollow, again to route cables, to power outlets for example, discreetly.

Éclipse 01 unit, 100% French artisanal manufacture To ensure a quality standard worthy of contemporary interiors, Atelier Éclipse logically chose the short supply chain. Entirely designed in France, the unit is then crafted in Vendée by Atelier des Agenceurs, a partner specifically selected for its great expertise in woodworking and its high standards for finishes. From the hidden connectivity to the technical constraints absorbed by the structure, everything is orchestrated so that the installation is invisible to the naked eye.
