In a recent official document stemming from European regulations, the exact battery capacity of the highly anticipated Apple iPhone Duo is now known. With 4,883 mAh on the clock, the smartphone from the apple company promises formidable battery life, even if this figure differs from the earliest rumors.
It’s a figure that won’t really be of much use to the average person. But the information on the milliamp-hour capacity of the battery in the new iPhone Duo is important for fans of technical details. Especially since, historically, Apple never reveals the battery capacity of its iPhones during its presentations.
Battery life first
What matters is the final battery life, and the company never stops improving elements such as the main processor or the modem to reduce power consumption and therefore increase the device’s operating time, regardless of the battery capacity.
4,883 mAh, the right balance
Nevertheless, number enthusiasts like to know. So it is in an official European regulatory document that we learn the battery capacity of the iPhone Duo: 4,883 mAh. Right in between those of the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max models, which list 4,288 mAh and 5,567 mAh respectively.
Up to 44 hours of video playback
We are therefore far from the 5,500 mAh announced by rumors at the beginning of the year. However, Apple claims up to 31 hours of video playback with the internal screen, and 44 hours of video playback with the external screen. More than respectable performance for this type of form factor.
