IFA 26 > Panasonic TV, prices and availability of the QD Mini LED W95C, W92C and QLED W80C series

After the major announcement of the transfer of its TV activities to the Chinese manufacturer Skyworth last February (see our news item Panasonic TVs in the hands of China’s Skyworth), Panasonic clarified at the IFA show in Berlin the launch and pricing of its new 2026 LCD and OLED screen series (see our news items IFA 26 > Panasonic Z90B TV: soon back in stores and IFA 26 > Panasonic Z95B OLED TV, the prodigal son returns). For France, the LCD catalog will ultimately focus on the QD Mini LED W95C and W92C references, supplemented by the QLED W80C series.

If Panasonic announced a very wide range of Mini [abc]LED[/abc] [abc]LCD[/abc] TVs in Munich some time ago, the manufacturer has revised its plans for the French market. The W97C, W94C and W90C models will ultimately not be distributed here (the same is true of the [abc]Oled[/abc] range, which includes only the two Z90B and Z95B series, with the Z85C absent from store shelves in France). In 2026, Panasonic is therefore concentrating and strengthening its French offering with the W95C and W92C series, positioned at the top of the range, accompanied by the new W80C series, the QLED entry-level model in the catalog.

Panasonic W95C: QD Mini LED, more than 1,000 zones and 1,500 nits Flagships of this range, the Panasonic W95C models adopt QD Mini LED backlighting with more than 1,000 zones, a peak brightness of around 1,500 nits and a color gamut announced at 105% of DCI-P3. This series also includes a 144 Hz panel, [abc]HDR Dolby Vision[/abc] and [abc]Dolby Atmos[/abc] compatibility, Filmmaker Mode, plus three [abc]HDMI[/abc] 2.1 inputs with [abc]VRR[/abc] and [abc]ALLM[/abc] on the menu. Glare Free Ultra technology, new in 2026 (2027 for Oled TVs), aims to reduce reflections in bright rooms. Also worth noting, the W95C models run on Google TV, include a soundbar to enhance audio performance, and feature an integrated microphone for voice control.

Panasonic W92C: more affordable QD Mini LED 144 Hz Positioned just below in the 2026 range, the Panasonic W92C series retains QD Mini LED backlighting and a 144 Hz panel with three HDMI 2.1 connectors, VRR and ALLM. The W92C also runs on Google TV and confirms the presence of Glare Free Ultra technology, HDR Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and a long-range microphone, making it a strong alternative for lovers of great picture quality.

Panasonic W80C: the QLED alternative To complete this offering, Panasonic is introducing the W80C series. Based on QLED (Quantum Dots) technology, it allows the manufacturer to offer TVs at very aggressive prices, available in many sizes ranging from 43'' (109 cm) to 75" (191 cm), to suit all interiors and budgets.

Availability announced for late September, early October.
