Hisense expands its range with the PX4-Pro, an evolution of the PX3-Pro aimed at replacing large-format televisions and traditional ceiling projectors.
Hisense PX4-Pro: Digital Laser Engine 3.0, a giant image up to 200 inches
The Hisense PX4-Pro is built around Digital Laser Engine 3.0, a triple RGB laser [abc]RVB[/abc] module (TriChroma) capable of delivering high brightness of 3,500 lumens. Combined with a conventional 0.47" [abc]DMD[/abc] chip and a seven-position iris, this light source promises colossal coverage of the BT.2020 color space (118%) and a Delta E below 0.9 out of the box. Thanks to its ultra-short-throw optics (0.2:1 ratio), only one meter of throw distance is enough to display a gigantic 200" (508 cm) image. Contrast, according to its maker, reaches 6,500:1 thanks to the CineBlack Pro dynamic grayscale system, which opens up dark areas in real time. Finally, installation is simplified by motorized focus and automatic keystone adjustment, handled by two integrated cameras.
Hisense PX4-Pro: full HDR, Imax Enhanced and Devialet audio system
The machine hits all the marks in dynamic colorimetry by supporting [abc]HDR HLG[/abc], [abc]HDR10[/abc], as well as [abc]HDR10+[/abc] and [abc]HDR Dolby Vision[/abc]. It is also Imax Enhanced certified (for an image 26% larger than the classic 16:9 format) and features Filmmaker mode for optimal cinematic fidelity. On the audio side, Hisense has relied on the expertise of the French company Devialet to design an onboard [abc]Dolby Atmos[/abc] and [abc]DTS:X[/abc] system in a 4.0.2 configuration. With 66 W of power, it integrates two ceiling-firing speakers for true Height channel reproduction, with no additional equipment.
Hisense PX4-Pro: 240 Hz, FreeSync Premium and Xbox Cloud Gaming
The Hisense PX4-Pro excels at video games. It offers nearly nonexistent input lag of 1 ms at [abc]1 080p[/abc]/240 Hz resolution (and supports [abc]2 160p[/abc]/120 Hz input signal). AMD FreeSync Premium certified, it handles [abc]VRR[/abc] and [abc]ALLM[/abc] perfectly. The proprietary VIDAA operating system directly integrates the Xbox Cloud Gaming app for console-free play, in addition to the usual video [abc]streaming[/abc] apps (Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video…). It also supports [abc]AirPlay 2[/abc] and [abc]Wi-Fi[/abc] 7.
An ultra-complete and well-thought-out set of connections
To support this wealth of technologies, the physical connectivity is not left out. The rear panel of the Hisense PX4-Pro includes no fewer than four [abc]HDMI[/abc] inputs. Among them are two HDMI 2.1 ports (one of which is [abc]eARC[/abc]-compatible for high-definition audio transmission to an external amplifier or soundbar) and two HDMI 2.0 ports.
To this are added [abc]USB[/abc] ports (including one USB 3.0), an [abc]Ethernet[/abc] port (RJ45) for a perfectly stable wired network connection, as well as an [abc]optical[/abc] audio output. Finally, an undeniable advantage for integration into a living room, the power supply is built directly into the chassis, thus avoiding having to hide a large and unsightly external transformer behind the TV stand.
One last detail: the Hisense PX4-Pro also includes an anti-RBE process (anti-rainbow effect) called ChromaFix to reduce the phenomenon by up to 99%.
