Shrek 5: First terrifying trailer

Prepare yourself mentally; in 16 years of absence, Shrek has definitely changed.
While Toy Story 5 has just hit theaters, another cult animated franchise refuses to give way: Shrek. We hadn't seen the ogre since 2010 and Shrek 4, subtitled… It Forgot an End. But in 2027, the whole gang will be back for a new adventure that promises to be… complicated. Shrek in DLSS 5. One might have hoped that Dreamworks would have taken inspiration from the excellent visuals of Puss in Boots 2 for this comeback. But they missed the mark. Directed by Walt Dohrn and Conrad Vernon, Shrek 5 is frightening from its trailer (whose commentary has been disabled…) as Shrek's face has changed so much, reminiscent of Sonic's worst moments. More detailed, it's also less natural and pleasant to look at than the one from 16 years ago. Let's hope that the original voices of Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy (whose Donkey will presumably have his own film later), and Cameron Diaz will be present. Shrek 5 arrives in theaters on June 30, 2027.
