TCL P6L TV: Entry-level Ultra HD 4K TVs from 55" to 75"

Following the Chinese manufacturer's 2026 Mini LED TV series (TCL C6K Pro, TCL C7L, TCL C8L, TCL RM9L and TCL X11L), it's time for the Chinese manufacturer's entry-level Ultra HD 4K series with the TCL P6L.
As you can see from the photos below, these televisions display a premium design, notably thanks to an elegant and thin metal bar at the bottom and an extremely discreet LCD panel frame to give pride of place to the image. The TCL P6L series includes three Ultra HD 4K models: the TCL 55P6L (55", 140 cm), TCL 65P6L (65", 165 cm), and TCL 75P6L (75", 191 cm). TCL P6L, a new entry-level series with a premium design. Ultra HD 4K LCD models, TCL P6L televisions are equipped with a Direct LED Global Dimming backlight system combined with a native 10-bit 60Hz LCD panel and AiPQ Engine video processing. However, there's no Quantum Dot technology here. On the 65"/75" and larger screen sizes, there's a DLG function that allows for displays up to 120Hz via a 60Hz panel, halving the vertical resolution (to 1080p) for a smoother and more enjoyable gaming experience. This will delight owners of PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, or high-end gaming PCs. In terms of technical specifications, the TCL P6L TVs boast a peak brightness of 270 nits for the 55", 280 nits for the 65", and 330 nits for the 75". Logically, one of the three HDMI connectors is HDMI 2.1 for handling 4K/120 HFR, eARC, and ALLM. In terms of HDR, HDR10 and HDR HLG technologies are included (but not Dolby Vision HDR). Other features include 120Hz MEMC motion compensation, an anti-reflective coating, and a blue light reduction mode. The sound system delivers a total power of 20W in [abc]2.0[/abc] configuration (2 x 10W) for the 55"/65" models, and 30W for the 75" model. Dolby Audio compatibility is included.

TCL P6L: Ultra HD 4K Specifications and Essential Gaming Features The TCL P6L TVs feature Google TV Smart functionality (Android 12). Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5 in addition to Bluetooth 5.4. As previously mentioned, the connectivity includes three HDMI ports (one 2.1 and two 2.0) certified [abc]HDCP[/abc] 2.2. Also included are an [abc]optical[/abc] output, a [abc]USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0 port, and a [abc]USB 3.0 port. [abc]Ethernet[/abc], plus a [abc]CI+ port[/abc]. Availability announced for June.
