The Samsung S85H OLED TVs are the direct successors to the Samsung S85F models. Like the others, the S85H screens also feature a dual-stand design, from 48" to 83 inches. A more accessible OLED SE series, direct successor to the S85F. Five Samsung S85H models are available: the Samsung TQ48S85H (48", 122 cm), Samsung TQ55S85H (55", 140 cm), Samsung TQ65S85H (65", 165 cm), Samsung TQ77S85H (77", 196 cm), and Samsung TQ83S85H (83", 211 cm). All models are equipped with a White OLED SE panel from LG Display (see our article "LG OLED SE TVs: the ultimate weapon to lower prices and compete with Mini LED?"). Finally, no The One Connect box is a separate device for the S85H screens, similar to the S92H. Likewise, as with the S92H and S99H displays, Samsung offers a Slim Fit Wall Mount. However, due to the thickness of the S85H TVs, they will not sit completely flush against the wall. The Samsung S85H OLED TV series, from 2026, features an optimized panel capable of reaching a peak brightness of approximately 900 nits at 10% APL and 200 nits at 100% APL. It is equipped with the NQ4 AI Gen 2 processor (20 Deep Learning modules) and a 120Hz refresh rate, with FreeSync Premium and G-Sync compatibility for exceptionally smooth motion. As a reminder, the Deep Learning process is based on a neural network model, meaning there is no human intervention (unlike Machine Learning) in the processor's learning. The processor independently decides on the necessary adjustments to the image processing algorithms to restore optimal quality from a degraded display. The EyeComfort mode, once the TV is connected to the internet, subtly adjusts the brightness and color temperature of the image according to the time of day, ensuring consistently optimal viewing comfort. For example, it reduces the blue light emitted in the evening to promote sleep for sensitive individuals. HDR10+ Advanced, Color Booster Pro, and Auto HDR Remastering Pro are supported by the S85H screens, which include HDR10+, HDR10+ Adaptive, HDR10+ Gaming, HDR10+ Advanced, and HDR10+. HLG. As always with Samsung, Dolby Vision is absent, but the brand compensates with particularly advanced HDR management. The Color Booster Pro process enhances the saturation and richness of colors scene by scene, while the self-emissive panel ensures infinite contrast. The TV also incorporates Auto HDR Remastering, capable of converting SDR content into a more dynamic, brighter, and more contrasted HDR image thanks to the AI algorithms of the NQ4 AI Gen 2 processor. VRR compatibility and four HDMI 2.1 inputs capable of accepting a 4K 120Hz signal are included, placing the series among the top performers for video games. The AI Motion Enhancer mode is still present to smooth fast movements without excessive artifacts, while the AI Auto Game Mode automatically adapts the settings according to the type of game content. The AI Football Mode setting is also included, which detects live match broadcasts to optimize the color of the pitch. and the stadium's soundscape.

Samsung S85H: 2.0 audio system, OTS Lite and wireless Dolby Atmos££££
The sound system of the S85H TVs remains very ambitious with a 2.0 system capable of delivering a total power of 20W, compatible with wireless Dolby Atmos, supported by the OTS Lite (Object Tracking Sound) process to spatialize effects as close as possible to the action on screen. The Q-Symphony function is still present: in combination with a Samsung Q-Series soundbar (2020 to 2026), the TV retains its own speakers to enhance spaciousness and immersion, while automatically adapting the sound to the room's acoustics. There are numerous new software features, starting with AI Sound Controller, which allows you to independently adjust certain sound objects (for example, amplifying the audience noise while attenuating the commentators' voices), and an enhanced version of Adaptive Sound Pro and Active Voice Amplifier Pro to maintain dialogue clarity even in the presence of background noise. In addition, there's the ability to connect two Bluetooth audio devices simultaneously, the Vision AI Companion (recommendations, picture/sound optimization, instant translation/Live Translate, generative wallpaper, see our news article Samsung Vision AI Companion: TVs become truly intelligent).

Samsung S85H: MultiView Function, Advanced Mirroring and SmartThings Integration££££
Like their predecessors, the Samsung S85H OLED TVs offer the simultaneous display of multiple content streams thanks to the MultiView function. The user can display two windows in parallel: a TV channel, an HDMI source, an application, an internet stream, or even the screen from a smartphone via mirroring. The various display configurations (PIP, adjacent windows, dynamic layout) are still available, with intelligent audio management allowing selection of the main source. The S85H also benefits from improved mirroring (TV to mobile and mobile to TV), AirPlay compatibility, and deep integration with SmartThings to display cameras, notifications, or connected devices directly on the screen. Samsung S85H: Tizen 2026, Alexa, Bixby, and Vision AI Companion. On the Smart TV side, the Samsung S85H benefits from the latest version of Tizen 2026, still focused on content and still accompanied by 7 years of OS updates, a rare commitment in the market. The Bixby and Amazon Alexa voice assistants are integrated, with the possibility of Switching between them depending on usage. The TV also features the new Vision AI Companion, capable of recommending content, optimizing picture and sound in real time, instantly translating into six languages, and generating a personalized wallpaper. AirPlay, SmartThings, Google Meet, Copilot, and Perplexity compatibility further enrich the connected ecosystem. Connectivity also improves with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. Also worth mentioning: cloud-based access to the set-top boxes of the four French ISPs, eliminating the need for a physical box, via their respective on-screen applications. Samsung S85H: Game Bar 5.0, ALLM, and Super Ultra Wide Game View. The ALLM function and Game Bar 5.0 with its display modes are also present. 16:9, 21:9, or even 32:9 (Super Ultra Wide Game View), plus the Mini Map Zoom function (see our article "Samsung Smart TVs are making PCs and consoles virtual") for video game enthusiasts, with PC connection and Game Motion Plus mode. As a reminder, this last feature (adapted for video games, as its name suggests) is very interesting because it allows you to activate the TV's motion compensation process with games while maintaining a fairly low input lag. Not forgetting the Smart Calibration feature (formerly Expert Calibration, see our article "CES 22 > Samsung Neo QLED TV, Intelligent Calibration via Samsung Galaxy or iPhone") and a SolarCell remote control that is still solar-powered and can be recharged via RF (radio frequency). Thus, the remote uses your Wi-Fi signal to recharge continuously. SmartThings and 3D Map View: the TV at the heart of the connected home
Of course, the SmartThings function is still included. The group's IoT (Internet of Things) platform is compatible with Android and iOS, as well as with several hundred devices from other brands (Arlo-type security cameras, Amazon Echo or Google Home-type smart speakers, Philips Hue-type connected lights, smart locks, etc.). Samsung Smart TVs are thus able to integrate into the most current interactive ecosystems with a major advantage, directly linked to their DNA: the ability to display a wealth of information on their screen. Thanks to the new 3D Map View, it is possible to see the face of the person who just rang the doorbell, the contents of the Samsung Family Hub refrigerator, notifications from the robot vacuum cleaner, or even the washing machine when the cycle is finished. The television thus becomes the preferred interface for accessing the features offered by Smart Home devices.
