JMGO N3 Ultimate: 4K triple laser video projector with 5800 lumens and 3-in-1 optical system

The JMGO N3 Ultimate, unveiled by the Chinese manufacturer at CES in Las Vegas last January, is arriving on the European market with an ambitious spec sheet. This triple-laser Ultra HD 4K model boasts high brightness, exceptionally flexible installation, and a Google TV platform.
The JMGO N3 Ultimate single-chip DLP projector is now available in Europe. In addition to its very attractive technical specifications, its price is already discounted to €2,249 at Fnac (down from €2,699) using the code JMGOBESTN3U. The N3 Ultimate uses a MALC 5.0 triple laser light source that, according to its creator, covers 110% of the BT.2020 color gamut and reduces speckle by 99.99%. It supports Dolby Vision HDR, HDR10, and HLG HDR formats with Dynamic Tone Mapping (DTM). The advertised brightness reaches 5,800 lumens. As is often the case with projectors, however, the HDR effect remains different from that of high-end televisions. The 0.47" DMD matrix with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels is paired with XPR 4 Pixel Shifting processing (XPR stands for eXpanded Pixel Resolution), all from Texas Instruments. Finally, there is MEMC motion compensation. The JMGO N3 Ultimate features a 3-in-1 optical system and motorized gimbal. This projector stands out with its 3-in-1 optical system combining four-axis lens shift (±130% vertical, ±53% horizontal), a 0.88-1.7:1 optical zoom, and a remotely controlled motorized gimbal. Image adjustment remains entirely optical, limiting the need for digital keystone correction and preserving both resolution and brightness. An AI spatial memory function allows you to save multiple projection configurations and instantly switch between them. wall or from one position to another. The JMGO N3 Ultimate offers a low-latency gaming mode (ALLM), VRR, and a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz in 1080p with an input lag of 1 millisecond. Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, one of which is eARC compatible. The user interface is based on Google TV 5.0 and it features 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of flash storage, and a MediaTek MT9679 SoC.

JMGO N3 Ultimate: Dolby Audio and DTS:X

The projector integrates a stereo audio system with a total power of 25W (2 x 12.5W), compatible with Dolby Audio and DTS:X. The specifications mention a frequency response down to 35Hz, sufficient for everyday use on streaming platforms such as Netflix, Disney+, or YouTube.
