Apple's Godzilla shatters a world record

To mark the launch of the second season of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters on February 27 (click for the review), Apple TV went all out, recreating the series' monsters, including Godzilla and King Kong, with thousands of drones. Drones: Reaching New Heights! On February 20, the Los Angeles skyline was invaded by these enormous creatures for 12 minutes in an aerial show created by Heads in the Sky with no fewer than 3,000 drones. It's worth noting that this show broke the record for the highest altitude for an exhibition of this type, with drones flying to over 150 meters high. The previous record was held by Marvel with a giant Wolverine deployed at San Diego Comic-Con in 2024.
