CES 26 > Samsung S99H OLED TV, 35% brightness and Wireless One Connect

The premium OLED TV series from the Korean manufacturer, the Samsung S99H, has evolved significantly compared to the S95H already reviewed in our pages. In addition to improved brightness, it also features a wireless connection and a major design overhaul.
Samsung therefore announces for its new S99H televisions a peak brightness increase of +35% compared to the 2025 S95F models, without further details. However, given that last year's S95F was rated at 4,000 nits (approximately 2,100 nits for the 55" model with an APL of 10% once calibrated, see our full review of the Samsung TQ55S95F), the on-screen picture should gain even more dynamism. Samsung S99H OLED TV, new specifications: While the Samsung S99H TV series retains the Real Black certification, which ensures deep blacks even in bright ambient light, the new NQA AI processor brings some interesting new features. First and foremost is the AI Sound Controller function, which allows independent adjustment of sound elements, such as amplifying crowd sounds while reducing the commentators' voices. There's also the AI Soccer Mode: for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the TV automatically detects matches to optimize grass color and sound immersion (clarity). comments and stadium intensity).

Of course, the Glare Free technology is still in place, as is the Q-Symphony function which, when used with a Samsung Q-Series soundbar (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026), allows you to use the TV's speakers in addition to those of the soundbar, while optimizing the sound according to the room's acoustics to enhance sound reproduction, its scale, and its spatialization. Note that Samsung S99H TVs can be wirelessly connected to up to five audio devices (see our CES 26 news > Samsung LS50H and LS70H: designer wireless speakers, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth by Erwan Bouroullec). Finally, we can also mention a maximum refresh rate of 165 Hz and compatibility with FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync.
