LG and will.i.am are strengthening their partnership and taking advantage of CES 2026 in Las Vegas to announce four new Xboom speakers: the Stage 501, Blast, Mini, and Rock, complementing the Stage 301, Bounce, and Grab models released in 2025.
These different models cover all uses: parties, outdoor activities, and everyday listening, with a consistent sound signature (balanced mode or Bass Boost), long battery life (up to 35 hours), Space Calibration Pro to optimize audio quality (indoors and outdoors), and a ubiquitous AI interface called FYI.RAiDiO, which is conversational. AI at the heart of LG Xboom speakers: FYI.RAiDiO, AI Sound, and AI Lighting. Artificial intelligence is at the heart of LG Xboom speakers, starting with the FYI.RAiDiO feature (developed by will.i.am), which offers "10 AI DJ personas" for natural two-way interactions: contextualized sound selection (time, location, atmosphere), and adaptive playlists via My Button or the dedicated app. AI Sound mode analyzes the content to adjust the equalization (prioritizing vocals, melody, or rhythm), and AI Lighting synchronizes multicolored LED bars to the beat of the music being played, perfect for parties. LG Xboom Stage 501: Karaoke Tour de Force 220W. The flagship model of the range, the Stage 501 speaker (see photo left below) surpasses the Stage 301 in every way: the AI Karaoke Master function, developed using Deep Learning on over 10,000 songs, allows for the removal, attenuation, or modification of vocals in any song, and even pitch adjustment. This makes it possible to sing solo or duet, without special files or a subscription. Power output is 220W via mains connection and 160W via the interchangeable battery. The latter offers approximately 25 hours of listening at a reasonable volume. Finally, the LG Xboom Stage 501 sports a five-sided design, like the Stage 301, and can be placed vertically, horizontally, tilted, or even on a tripod. The acoustic package includes a dual woofer plus a full-range driver and Peerless tweeters, for rich bass and crystal-clear treble. LG Xboom Blast: an outdoor powerhouse offering 35 hours of battery life. Designed to be taken to the beach or camping, the LG Xboom Blast (see photo on the right above) offers 35 hours of battery life and 220W of power. Its acoustic features include three passive radiators for a more immersive soundstage. Robustness is another of its strengths: side protection, resistance to military tests, a side rope handle for vertical movement, and a top rubber handle for quick transport. While no specific IP67 certification is provided for the Blast, it is presumed to be IP67 certified. LG Xboom Mini: IP67 and practical attachment. The LG Xboom Mini speaker (see photo left below) comes in the form of a compact cube offering approximately 10 hours of music, Sound Field Enhance mode for perfect sound clarity outdoors, a Magic Strap attachment for easy placement anywhere, and touch controls. Also worth noting is the integrated tripod stand and IP67 certification.

LG Xboom Rock: The LG Xboom Rock speaker (see photo right above) is an evolution of the XG2, now offering 10 hours of battery life, boosted power to 6W, and resistance to seven military-grade durability tests. Another addition is Bluetooth and Auracast (LE Audio) compatibility. Suggested retail prices are still unknown. Availability is expected in spring 2026.
