AI recap on Prime Video: it's a failure

AI that becomes a director and produces a video summary of previous seasons of a series: a bad idea?
Last year, Prime Video launched a feature called X-Ray Recaps, generating a text summary of seasons, episodes, or even a part of an episode you might have missed or forgotten, so you could easily pick up where you left off and not wonder, "Who's that guy again?". Prime Video removes feature after negative publicity. Building on this, the platform took the concept further by offering a similar summary, but in video format. So, what does that actually look like? A disaster, according to those who saw this feature in action for the new season of Fallout, far from the "cinematic quality" summary initially promised by Prime Video. In detail, besides the monotonous narration characteristic of the AI, the summary is riddled with errors, particularly regarding dates (1950 instead of 2077 for a flashback), and the season finale cliffhanger completely reinvents the characters' motivations. It should be noted that this summary was quickly removed from Prime Video after the backlash. Otherwise, the second season of Fallout will be available starting December 17th.
