The French high-resolution music streaming platform is expanding its presence in homes with its arrival on televisions and Android TV devices.
Qobuz announces the launch of its Android TV app, allowing Smart TV and Google TV compatible device users to access the French platform's high-resolution music catalog. Qobuz, Google TV, what audio quality? The entire Qobuz offering and options are available via an interface optimized for the big screen, including albums, favorites, editorial team selections, and personalized recommendations. Music is available in lossless quality (FLAC 44.1 kHz/16-bit, CD-quality audio) and Hi-Res Audio up to 192 kHz/24-bit, which you can enjoy provided you have the appropriate audio equipment connected to your TV. Axel Destagnol, Chief Product Officer at Qobuz, explains: "Also noteworthy is the Qobuz Connect feature for controlling music from your smartphone or tablet. 'Our users have been asking us for an Android TV app for a long time,' says Axel Destagnol, Chief Product Officer at Qobuz. 'This app embodies our desire to be present wherever music is listened to, from headphones to the living room, while preserving what makes Qobuz unique: audio quality and rich editorial content.'"
