Benicio del Toro in negotiations for Ocean's Eleven prequel

        Benicio del Toro is reportedly in negotiations to join the cast of the Ocean's Eleven prequel at Warner Bros. Pictures and LuckyChap Entertainment.    
    
        Earlier this month, it was announced that Bradley Cooper had joined the film and would star opposite Margot Robbie. He takes over the role originally intended for Ryan Gosling. The film Ocean's will be set in Monaco. Plot and character details remain confidential, but the film is reportedly titled simply Oceans, with Cooper and Robbie playing the parents of Danny Ocean (George Clooney) and Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock). Set against the backdrop of the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix, the film is described as having a To Catch a Thief feel. The screenplay is by Carrie Solomon (A Family Affair). Benicio del Toro is rumored to be in talks to play the potential antagonist in the project, whose cast is expected to expand rapidly in the coming months, with filming scheduled for early 2026. Lee Isaac Chung (Twisters) will direct the film. We'll see, or not…
