The rumor will have been true again. Apple has just released a new iteration of its Apple Vision Pro headset. A model almost identical to the original released last year, down to the still high price, even if the power of the device has been upgraded.
Apple Vision Pro 2025, what are the developments compared to the original model?££££
Indeed, Apple launched at the same time its new M5 chip, which is therefore found in this headset in place of the previous M2. The difference, enormous in terms of computing power, is felt in terms of execution speed, fluidity and autonomy which increases by 30 minutes to reach 3 hours. The screen refresh rate now displays up to 120 Hz, against 90 Hz previously, reducing blur effects and making the use of virtual screens more pleasant. In short, not enough to convince the initial hesitants, but a way for Apple to remain competitive against the competition, while preparing the next generation behind the scenes (even if the internal priority seems to have been given to the development of connected glasses in the absence of mixed reality headsets).
Namely, a new double headband called Dual Knit Band is available, offering better support and more comfort during long sessions which can be tiring, especially for the neck. A headband unfortunately sold separately at the recommended price of €115, while the Apple Vision Pro is still available from €3,699, the recommended price.
