Thomson's Mini LED TVs, initially announced at the 2024 edition of the Berlin event, will be a reality in 2025. The 55" model is already available in stores in France.
Thomson MG7C15 TV, main specifications££££
Thomson therefore presents the five Mini LED references Thomson 43MG7C15 (109 cm), Thomson 50MG7C15 (127 cm), Thomson 55MG7C15 (140 cm), Thomson 65MG7CS15 (165 cm) and Thomson 75MG7C15 (191 cm).
All equipped with a 144 Hz [abc]LCD[/abc] panel, they display [abc]HDR Dolby Vision[/abc] and [abc]Dolby Atmos[/abc] compatibility, the Smart Google TV function, a [abc]Chromecast (built-in)[/abc], two [abc]HDMI[/abc] 2.1, two [abc]HDMI[/abc] 2.0, three [abc]USB[/abc] (one 3.0), one [abc]optical[/abc] output, one [abc]Composite[/abc] input on 3.5 mm mini-Jack, one [abc]Ethernet[/abc] port, one [abc]CI+ port[/abc] and [abc]DVB-T[/abc]2, [abc]DVB-S[/abc]2 and [abc]DVB-C[/abc] tuners. The Mini LED backlighting system has 80 zones for the 43" TV, 96 for the 50", 240 for the 65", 576 for the 65" TV and 720 for the 75 inch. The peak brightness displays 1,000 nits for the 55", 1,300 nits for the 65" and 75 inch.

As illustrated in the photos of this news, the Thomson MG7C15 TV series offers a central stand (see first photo below) - pivoting on the 43" and 50" specimens - and a backlit remote control. The [abc]VRR[/abc] and [abc]ALLM[/abc] functionalities are on the menu, the same for the [abc]Wi-Fi[/abc] and [abc]Bluetooth[/abc] compatibilities. Finally, the sound section delivers a total power of 20 W (2 x 10 W) on the 43"/50", 24 W (2 x 12 W) on the 55" and 65", 30 W (2 x 10 W + 10 W) on the 75 inch.
