The latest leaks point to the imminent release of an official Xbox virtual reality (VR) headset. However, this device, which is expected to launch tomorrow, Tuesday, June 24, is not quite the event that one might expect.

Indeed, following in the footsteps of the recent Xbox handheld console - simply a special version of an already existing Asus Rog Ally - the Xbox headset will in fact be a Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition model. The device will have the Xbox colors and approval, but will in no way be a brand new machine from the American video game giant's factories.
Offered at a presumed indicative price of $399, the device will come with a three-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. It will therefore be an additional means of accessing the Xbox catalog, but only by [abc]streaming[/abc]. So don't expect a unique VR experience, but more of a giant virtual screen to play your Game Pass catalog.
Initially planned for the United States, the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition may arrive here, but nothing is confirmed yet.
