Thus, the AirPods 4 and AirPods Pro 2 will allow studio-quality audio recordings, useful for interviews, podcasts, songs, or videos. Phone calls will benefit from improved quality, as will sound on FaceTime and other CallKit-compatible applications like Zoom. Another interesting feature is using the AirPods as a remote control for the Camera application (and other third-party applications) on iPhone and iPad. Simply hold the stem of an AirPod to start a recording or take a photo. AirPods will also automatically pause music when you fall asleep, and finally, AirPods audio will stream directly to CarPlay when you get in your car.
