Project Moohan, Samsung's answer to the Apple Vision Pro, available in 2025

Recently made official, the extended reality headset developed by Samsung and Google will arrive this year, the Korean manufacturer has confirmed.

Surreptitiously unveiled last January at the Samsung Unpacked event, then passed into the hands of YouTuber Marques Brownlee in prototype form, the extended reality headset, or XR (VR and AR), developed by Samsung and Google, will be marketed this year.

A confirmation heard at the recent Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, during which the Korean manufacturer once again exhibited the baby on its stand. As a reminder, the headset (codenamed Project Moohan) is very close to the Apple Vision Pro, both in its design and its features. On the software side, the new Android XR interface resembles the OS of Apple's headset with exclusively gesture control and virtual desktops that appear as an overlay on reality.

Note the integration of an XR version of the Gemini artificial intelligence to which we can ask questions at any time, in particular about surrounding objects. We even find the Surround to search function, apparently very intuitive in this context. Not to mention the compatibility with the entire Google Play catalog, in addition to dedicated applications.

All that remains is to know how much this device will cost, an essential factor for its success knowing that Apple has decided to launch a very, even too, expensive headset.
