Peter Gabriel: Back to Front, a cult live performance in 4K

For this concert captured on October 21 and 22, 2012 in London, Peter Gabriel reconnected with the sidekicks of the 80s (notably Manu Katché on drums, acclaimed by the English public) and performed in front of no less than ten Sony 4K F55 cameras, the flagship of the brand at the time. A live performance to relive soon at home in 4K.

Edited in 4K Ultra HD by Eagle Vision, Peter Gabriel: Back to Front - Live in London is a hyper-solid show on a musical and vocal level, during which Peter Gabriel revisits his hits from the 80s, and more particularly the glorious era of the album So (1986).

A great moment interspersed with very short interviews with the group on the creation of the tracks, but also scattered and touching audio comments from Peter Gabriel. Another good idea from the film and director Hamish Hamilton is the editing on the London sound of older images of the same titles played during previous tours (including Growing Up). The result is jubilant, festive as can be. With a little organo-futuristic side due to the exceptional capture device (rails, poles, cameras, light effects) which are an integral part of the scenography. Of course, Sledgehammer takes everything in its path... As a bonus, a short subject on the creation of the show. Released May 10 by Eagle Vision.
