Hisense U7NQ, Mini LED backlighting££££
The Hisense U7NQ screens integrate a Mini LED backlighting system associated with a native 144 Hz or 240 10-bit (8-bit + FRC) LCD panel Hz via HSR (Hardware Super Resolution) technology. The Asian manufacturer announces 240 zones for the 55'' to just over 1,600 zones for the 100'', for a respective light peak of 1,300 nits to 1,500 nits. Finally, the U7NQ diffuser panels benefit from an anti-reflective coating.

For the rest, Filmmaker Mode and the Dolby Vision IQ function associated with an ambient light sensor are on the menu. Still on the program, a central foot (except on the 100'' with a double foot), MEMC type motion compensation, Hi-View Engine image processing, Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD management via a 2.1 audio system for a total power of 40 W (2 x 10 W + 20 W), the new Hi Concerto function (synchronization of the TV speakers with those of the Hisense model 2024 soundbar), Dolby HDR compatibility Vision, HDR10+, HDR10+ Adaptive and HDR HLG, as well as an expanded WCG (Wide Color Gamut) color space with 100% coverage of DCI-P3 thanks to the integration of Quantum Dots (QLED) technology.
As a reminder, this uses nanocrystals capable of emitting a given color to improve the tonal spectrum. It is also worth mentioning the Game Pro mode associated with 4K/144, ALLM, VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro compatibility.

We also note the Smart TV Vidaa U7.6 function associated with a particularly fast Quad Core processor (Quad Core Mediatek MT9618), with the emphasis on on the integration of local applications (Molotov, Canal+, Netflix, Salto, Disney+). But Vidaa U also integrates the Amazon Alexa voice assistant in addition to Vidaa Voice.
Also on the program, artificial intelligence to display recommendations on the right of the screen according to the tastes of the spectator(s), real-time information on the weather, or even information on the best applications of the moment. Finally, Vidaa U7.6 allows automatic recognition of peripherals connected to the TV (decoder, game console, Blu-Ray player, etc.) for greatly improved ergonomics. Likewise, it integrates an internet browser, a store with more than 200 applications, access to Netflix 4K, YouTube 4K, Amazon Prime Video 4K, Wuaki.tv (with direct access key to Netflix, Youtube and Wuaki.tv on the remote)…
Finally, navigation never exceeds three clicks to access the desired settings or services. Of course, support for HEVC, AV1 and VP9 decoding is required.

And on the connectivity side, there are four HDMI inputs, two of which are 2.1 144 Hz (eARC for one of them), the other two 60 hertz. The Dual Band Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 functions will obviously be required. Coming back to connectivity, there are also two USB Host ports (including one 3.0) with DVR and Time Shifting function, an optical output, a mini Composite input, a mini stereo input, an Ethernet port, a CI+ port… Last clarification, Hisense U7NQ TVs integrate a DVB-T2, DVB-S2 and DVB-C tuner, benefit from an Input Lag of 11.6 ms, without forgetting Fransat compatibility and the HBBTV 2.0 label.
Availability announced for the month of April. Indicative prices: €1,099 for the Hisense 55U7NQ, €1,399 for the Hisense 65U7NQ, €1,699 for the Hisense 75U7NQ and €3,199 for the Hisense 100U7NQ. The indicative price of the Hisense 85U7NQ is still unknown.
