Queen 4K Ultra HD, live and dangerous

Among Queen's legendary concerts, there is certainly Wembley in 1986, but also the electric Queen Rock Montreal in 1981 recorded in front of 18,000 people over two evenings, and the Live Aid in 1985. The two are brought together in an edition 4K Ultra HD available in France and around the world next May. Very good news for fans of live and 4K.

Brian May and Roger Taylor themselves announced that the Live Aid 1985 and Queen Rock Montreal 1981 concerts will be released in 4K Ultra HD for the very first time from Mercury. An edition scheduled for May 10 which follows the remastering of the two mega shows captured in 35 mm, and their recent release in Imax at the cinema.

Electric Queen££££

Dubbed by Brian May "Queen Live and Dangerous", the 4K box set will include all-new audio commentary from Brian May and Roger Taylor, as well as rehearsals from the Live Aid show (11' ) and an interview with the band recorded shortly before. But also and above all a brand new Dolby Atmos track which should allow us to rediscover this peak of Queen and Freddie Mercury, while the group had just confirmed its breakthrough in North America and completely monopolized the British charts, to then become the most large group in the world.
