Initially, the eighth Mission Impossible film was to be released in theaters in the summer of 2024. Finally, it was pushed back to May 23, 2025. Another big change, the title of the Mission Impossible film Dead Reckoning part 2 should change.
An extraordinary scene and new faces
As a reminder, the filming of this eighth opus was interrupted halfway due to a screenwriters' strike, while two major sequences captured in Africa and the Arctic, but also a whole bunch of dialogue scenes, had already been boxed. There is therefore half of the feature film to shoot, knowing that “the most important and most complicated scene of the film” (according to the production) remains to be staged.
If many characters from the first part already released in theaters (Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning part 1) would return in this sequel, several new faces would appear, including Holt McCallany, Hannah Waddingham, Nick Offerman, Janet McTeer and Lucy Tulugarjuk.
