Canal develops serial series… ask for the program

The Original Creation of Canal+ and the Offbeat Creation lift the veil on their upcoming 2023/2024 event series. An update on the ones we're most looking forward to.

From the 52-minute format to the mini-series, from the serial comedy to the sitcom in 26 minutes, but also shorter formats for Offbeat Creation, there will be something for everyone on the series side at Canal+.

With The Fever, the authors of Baron noir, Éric Benzekri and Ziad Doueri, will face off against Nina Meurisse and Ana Girardot around the destiny of a football star and his club led by Benjamin Biolay, in a very political series .

Mister Pade

Internationally, Mister Pade, imagined by Scott Frank and Tom Fontana. The two authors reinvent the private detective Sam Spade who this time takes on the features of Clive Owen for an investigation in France in the 60s with, in the French cast, Denis Ménochet, Louise Bourgoin, Chiara Mastroianni, Stanley Weber and Jonathan Zaccaï.

Homemade comedies

In terms of comedy, we await the arrival of Pamela Rose's series adaptation in which Kad Merad and Olivier Baroux once again take on the costumes of Bullit and Riper for an investigation into the world of YouTubers. They will be shaken up by the arrival of an ambitious young FBI agent played by Shirine Boutella.

Iconic figure of humor on Canal+, Jamel Debbouze will offer Terminal, a new sitcom recorded in public about the daily life - on Earth and in the air - of the least gifted crew of a low-cost airline.

Finally, other ambitious serial projects are currently filming such as Eastern Plain, Indian Cemetery, The Sentinels, Paris Has Fallen and the next seasons of Hippocrates and Marie Antoinette. The end of the year 2023 and the beginning of 2024 promise to be grandiose in terms of series on Canal+.
