In a recent interview, the director of Layer Cake and X-Men: First Class, Matthew Vaughn, shared some secrets about the future of two ultra-popular film franchises: Kick-Ass and Kingsman.

Ten years after the last opus, a new Kick-Ass is currently in preparation, it will feature a whole new group of characters in a new universe. He clarified: “This reboot of Kick-Ass is taking a new direction that I can't really talk about right now. But it's fun.”

Taron Egerton, final turn as Eggsy

Matthew Vaughn (who is currently imagining a musical!) also confided that he was working on a new Kingsman film, also planned for next year, and which should be the third and final film with Taron Egerton in Eggsy's skin.
