It includes everything you need to enjoy TV channels on your favorite pair of speakers and for connecting all the usual audio-video sources: Ultra HD Blu-Ray player, game console, etc.
Denon DRA-900H, Main Specifications
The Denon DRA-900H amplifier features high-current amplification capable of delivering a total power of 2 x 145 W at 6 ohms (100 W at 8 ohms). The design of Denon DRA-900H is more classic with a length of 43.4 centimeters. It can thus be easily integrated into audio and video equipment, mostly of similar size. On the connectivity side, we note the Heos multiroom function. It is therefore possible to broadcast the stereo signal simultaneously in several zones. Finally, still thanks to the onboard Heos module, the Denon DRA-900H offers the ability within a Heos configuration to distribute one of the connected sources to another link in the Heos chain.
The presence of a DAB+ tuner, web radios (TuneIn) and Hi-Res Audio certification with management of Flac, Wav and Alac up to 192 kHz/24 bits, Alac in addition to MP3 and WMA, and DSD 2.8/5.6 MHz. We also note Wi-Fi 5 Dual Band compatibility, AirPlay 2, Bluetooth 5.0 and Spotify Connect and AirPlay.
Denon DRA-900H: Ultra HD 8K, HDR10+, HDR Dolby Vision, Alexa and HDMI 2.1
On the HDR side, the Denon DRA-900H manages HDR10, HDR10+, HDR HLG and HDR Dolby Vision, not to mention the management of the BT.2020 gamut. The Pass-Throught 4K/8K and Upscaling 8K functions are also included. The same goes for the Works With Alexa label which provides control of the main controls of the Denon DRA-900H via an Amazon Echo type speaker.
Denon DRA-900H: connectivity
In terms of connectivity, there are six HDMI CEC inputs, three of which are 2.1 and three 2.0b, all HDCP 2.3 certified. The first three named accept signals up to Ultra HD 4 320p/60 (8K/60 Hz) and 2 160p/120 (4K/120 Hz). Video game enthusiasts will appreciate, these also manage the VRR, ALLM and QFT functions. Likewise, they are transparent to Deep Color, xvYCC and 3D signal. The HDMI output also supports the eARC function.
There are also two optical inputs, one coaxial, two stereo RCA, one Phono MM input, one headphone output, two USB Host ports including one on the front, one Ethernet port, one Pre-Out 2.2 output, one zone 2 plus two subwoofer outputs already mentioned. Without forgetting four pairs of screw terminal blocks (zone A/B). Of course, controlling the Denon DRA-900H is possible via the free Denon AVR Remote app.
