Foldable iPhone? Not until the technology is proven and priority to the MacBook

Finally news of the foldable screen MacBook that will test this technology before Apple (finally) launches the iPad and then the foldable screen iPhone.

A few weeks ago, the rumor confirmed that Apple was in no hurry to release an iPhone with a foldable screen to tickle Samsung and other Chinese manufacturers on the subject, preferring to start with a MacBook in order to test this technology.

Samsung Display evokes an Apple MacBook with foldable screen…

The information was recently almost confirmed at the SID Review show in Korea, where the director of Samsung Display, referring to the solidity tests of foldable screens, mentioned Apple. According to the Korean site The Elec, Apple is working on such a screen, but is not yet satisfied with its reliability, explaining why the brand is slow to introduce it to the market. Samsung Display director admits foldable screens are less sturdy and durable than regular screens, but says they keep getting better with time.

Foldable screen technology won't take off without Apple…

Apple works with Samsung Display and LG Display to develop this screen, and files numerous patents on it. The Elec adds that the industry is waiting for Apple to enter the market to increase consumer adoption of foldable displays. As for the chain of component suppliers, they themselves don't know when Apple's first foldables will arrive.
