The next Fast & Furious spinoff movie already has a title

A new list from Production Weekly reveals the title of the next Fast & Furious spin-off movie starring Dwayne Johnson.

The film will be called Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Reyes. It will not be a direct sequel to Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, but a hyphen film between Fast X and Fast X: Part Two.

Dwayne Johnson Vs Jason Momoa

The title also suggests that the film will focus on the rivalry between Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and Dante Reyes (Fast X villain played by Jason Momoa). For the moment, no release date has been revealed and we do not yet know the identity of the future director of the project. Given that Fast X: Part Two is due out in April 2025, there is still little chance that the film will be ready for theatrical release before 2025.

Fast 10 poor performance

Note that the project is still in the pipeline while Fast X is recording a poor performance at the box office. The film, with a budget of $340 million, earned “only” $678.9 million worldwide one month after its release. As a reminder, the biggest success of the franchise remains to date Fast 7 in 2015 with a recipe of 1.5 billion in the world for a budget of 250 million dollars. The previous Hobbs & Shaw spin-off film grossed $760 million at the worldwide box office. Source: productionweekly.com
