Panasonic MX800, 4K Ultra HD LED TV: 43'', 50'', 55'', 65'', 85'' and Fire TV on the menu

Continued, again, from our discovery of the Japanese manufacturer's 2023 TV range. After the Panasonic MZ2000, Panasonic MZ1500 and Panasonic MZ800 Oled TV series, the Panasonic MX950 Mini LED series, the Panasonic MX940 Full LED Local Dimming series, make way for the Panasonic MX800.

The Panasonic MX800 has five flat Ultra HD 4K LED references, the Panasonic TX-43MX800 (40'', 109 cm), Panasonic TX-50MX800 (50'', 127 cm), Panasonic TX-55MX800 (55'', 140cm), Panasonic MX-65LX800 (65'', 165cm) and Panasonic TX-85MX800 (85'', 216cm).

Panasonic MX800 TV, main specs

Panasonic MX800 televisions, in addition to an 8-bit 50 Hz LCD panel of the HDR Bright Panel Plus type (VA technology), are built using a Direct LED Global Dimming backlighting system. For the rest, we can mention the HDR Cinema Display functionality for 55''/65''/85'' screens, an extended color space, the HCX processor, HDR content management Dolby Vision, adaptive HDR10+, HDR10 and HDR HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma).

As a reminder, HDR10+ Adaptive technology is an improved version of the HDR10+ format for the best possible image regardless of ambient light conditions, dark rooms or with strong light sources. And even with changing light conditions, for example if the TV is located near a window. HDR10+ Adaptive mode uses data from the TV's light sensor to adapt the image to the environment.

Otherwise, we notice a DVB-T2, DVB-C and DVB-S2 tuner and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth compatibility (possibility of transmitting sound simultaneously to two compatible devices, for example two headphones). Finally, the audio section delivers 20 W (2 x 10 W).

Panasonic MX800 TV, Built-in Fire TV/Amazon Alexa

One of the biggest changes offered by the Panasonic MX800 TV series compared to the LX940 and OLED TV series is the Smart Fire TV function instead of My Home Screen.

Finally, the connectors have four HDMI 2.0b inputs, one with ARC management, one Composite, one optical output, two USB Hosts with PVR (digital recorder) function, one Ethernet port and one CI+ port. HDCP 2.3 certification is also included, as well as the ALLM function.

Availability announced for this summer. Indicative prices: €799 for the Panasonic TX-43MX800, €899 for the Panasonic TX-50MX800, €999 for the Panasonic TX-55MX800, €1,199 for the Panasonic TX-65MX800 and €2,799 for the Panasonic TX-85MX800.
