Launched by Apple in 2021 as a cheaper alternative to AirPods, the Beats Studio Buds should soon be replaced by a new version called Beats Studio Buds+. This is revealed by the 9to5mac site after finding mentions of the product in the code of the next iOS 16.4 update for the iPhone.
Beats Studio Buds+, subodorous evolutions…
It was initially rumored that the headphones could benefit from the H1 or W1 chip of the Airpods, but according to MacRumors this would not be the case and the Beats Studio Buds+ would carry a proprietary Beats chip, like their predecessors. We don't yet know what improvements this new version of the Studio Buds would offer, but we can expect -among other things- improved noise cancellation, wearing/removal detection, and a transparent mode. As for the price, it should not differ too much from the first Beats Studio Buds, marketed by Apple at €190, indicative price.
