All 5 Superman Movies Starring Christopher Reeve in 4K Ultra HD on April 18

Warner has just announced the release of a huge 4K Ultra HD box set of the entire Superman saga starring Christopher Reeve, starting April 18.

As a reminder, the saga of Christopher Reeve includes the films Superman (1978), Superman II (1980), Superman II: the Richard Donner Cut (2006), Superman III (1983) and Superman IV: the face-to-face (1987). All will therefore be grouped together in this 4K Ultra box set to come on April 18.

HDR Dolby Vision for the very first movie

The first film, directed by Richard Donner and which celebrates its 45th anniversary this year, will be available in HDR Dolby Vision (HDR10 for the sequels). And all the films will benefit from the VO remixed in Dolby Atmos. On the bonus side, the list from previous editions is as long as two arms: audio commentaries, making of, reports, unpublished scenes, old Superman cartoons, and so on…

A box or nothing

Warning, Warner is not planning a single 4K release to create the event around this Steelbook box set with 100% glossy visuals, enhanced with a reproduction of the comic book Superman '78 #1, a book of photos, a certificate of authenticity and a lenticular map of the “Phantom Zone”.

In this "Christopher Reeve" saga adapted from the DC comic created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, Margot Kidder played Lois Lane while Gene Hackman played the infamous Lex Luthor. Pre-order by clicking immediately on Superman Christopher Reeve saga box set.
