Damon Lindelof (The Leftovers, Lost) is reportedly developing the script for a new Star Wars feature film for Lucasfilm, which will be directed -and co-written- by Canadian-Pakistani Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy (pictured below ). A script still being written.

In any case, this would be the studio's most advanced Star Wars feature film project. As a reminder, Sharmeen Obaid-Chino directed several episodes of Miss Marvel, she also directed Saving Face, Girl in the River: the Price of Forgiveness, and more recently Brilliance.
