Spotify, expansion of “Mix to several”

Previously limited to two people, the "Multiple Mix" function is opening up to more listeners, and even to artists.

While we are still waiting for the Spotify Hi-Fi offer from which we no longer have any news (see our Spotify HiFi news, offer postponed sine die), the music service offers an interesting evolution of the Mix function to many on Spotify introduced last summer. As a reminder, the latter allows two users to merge their musical tastes into a single shared playlist.

Spotify Mix with several people, up to 10 people with possible selection of artists

Namely, the function has therefore recently been updated and now allows you to create a playlist with a maximum of 10 people, i.e. a high eclectic potential if the tastes turn out to be very different. In addition, it is also possible to create multiple mixes with a selection of artists, including Angèle or BTS. Users then receive a share card, showing the match scores of their likes. These allow you to see their listening preferences in relation to the artist, and are created to be shared directly on Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat or Twitter.
