Harrison Ford injured on set of Indiana Jones 5

The (bad) news has just fallen: Harrison Ford was injured on the set of the fifth installment of The Adventures of Indiana Jones.

The accident took place during the shooting of a brawl sequence. The 78-year-old comedian, yet a skilled daredevil (remember his personal plane crash), was reportedly injured in the shoulder.

Muscular shooting guaranteed

It is now up to the doctors to assess the seriousness of the injury and to propose a potential date for resuming filming, and above all the conditions to be met to ensure the good recovery of the actor. At the same time, director James Mangold should continue shooting what he can without Harrison Ford.

An official production release states: “It was during a fight scene rehearsal that Harrison Ford sustained a shoulder injury. The production will continue taking into account the treatment of this injury, the film schedule will be adapted accordingly in the coming weeks ”.

Falling on a bone…

This isn't the first time the actor has “fallen on a bone” on an important shoot. He had previously injured his back during the filming of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and most recently his leg had been broken during the shooting of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. We wish him a speedy recovery. Source: USA Today
