Premiere Max by Videofutur, new VOD platform and cinema room to adopt

Videofutur and Première magazine are joining forces to create a new VOD platform for movie fans. With the key to the possibility of also supporting cinemas…

Fruit of the collaboration between the cinema magazine Première and the VOD platform Videofutur, Premiere Max by Videofutur is a new 100% independent and made in France VOD service, launched at the end of October.

Cinema to adopt…

You can find the best of cinema, from the latest US blockbusters to the top of the French box office, including a wide choice of auteur films and great classics of French and international cinema. The biggest series of the moment are also available (because good series is good too) for a total of over 15,000 programs to rent or buy.

But Premiere Max by Videofutur is also an innovative proposition with the “Adopt a cinema” service. By the end of 2021, it will indeed be possible for users of this new legal streaming platform to "adopt a cinema" among partner exhibitors. Each transaction then carried out by the consumer via Premiere Max by Videofutur will trigger a transfer in favor of the cinema chosen by the spectator. Because the objective of Premiere Max by Videofutur is also to strengthen the link between the exhibition hall of works and video on demand in a real logic of complementarity of uses.

The floor to Reginald de Guillebon, president of Première Média

"In a context of strong evolution in the streaming market, Première is delighted to present its large community with a rich VOD offer," says Reginald de Guillebon, president of Première Média. Première's editorial know-how, combined with that of Videofutur, will guarantee permanent programming, animation and promotion of content with the aim of offering a dynamic, original and topical selection of films. In addition, Première strengthens its unwavering link with operations, and contributes to the development of the ecosystem and to the defense of the cinema model. ”

The word to Mathias Hautefort, president of Videofutur

Mathias Hautefort, President of Videofutur adds: “We are delighted with the partnership with Première, a historical media in cinema. The launch of this new VOD service once again demonstrates the expertise of the Videofutur teams in publishing and operating VOD service platforms, a rapidly growing OTT market ”.
