Apple HomeView Max, 9" screen on a 360° rotating robotic arm starting in 2027?

Barely has the Apple HomeView 7" connected screen been made official, and the Cupertino manufacturer would already be preparing a higher-end version equipped with a 9" panel and a 360-degree motorized robotic arm. Expected between late 2027 and 2028 according to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, this advanced home automation hub (potentially named HomeView Max, Ultra or 360) will automatically follow the user's movements around the room thanks to Siri AI.

While Apple has very recently announced the HomeView, its very first connected screen designed to control the home (for now deprived of a release in Europe), the company is already thinking about its next version. As a reminder, after years of rumors, the California-based manufacturer indeed unveiled on October 13 its home automation hub designed to compete with the famous Google Nest Hub (see our news Apple HomeView: the connected screen with Siri AI that is shunning Europe). This small screen aims to be the new nerve center of the connected home for the whole family.

Apple HomeView 9" and 360° motorized arm

Let’s skip the fact that it is currently banned in Europe since our regulations on the old continent do not want Siri AI, and look a little further into the future with a new version already in preparation. That is what Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reveals, once again, explaining that the next HomeView will have a larger 9" (22.86 cm) screen instead of the current 7" (17.78 cm), and visible at 360° thanks to a robotic arm.

Automatic user tracking

This famous arm has been the subject of rumors for years and it is expected to act intelligently, positioning and orienting the screen automatically toward the user, even if the latter moves around the room. Possible names for this new device: HomeView Ultra, HomeView Max or HomeView 360.

Launch estimated for late 2027 or 2028.
