In the wake of renewing its laser projector lineup, the Chinese manufacturer unveils the Hisense C3 Pro. Direct successor to the highly appreciated C2 Pro, this new Ultra HD 4K lifestyle model moves clearly upmarket with a brightness rated at 3,000 lumens, the addition of a valuable optical Lens Shift, and a 2.1 sound section now signed by Devialet.

The Hisense C3 Pro takes up the gimbal architecture that made the line famous, with its integrated metal stand allowing full 360° horizontal rotation and vertical tilt up to 135 degrees. This design greatly simplifies placement, whether on a coffee table, a shelf, or for direct ceiling projection. The ergonomics take a decisive leap forward: in addition to a 1.6x optical zoom (projection ratio from 0.9 to 1.5:1), the C3 Pro now integrates a true [abc]Lens Shift[/abc] (lens optical shift) offering a wide range of ±100% vertically and ±35% horizontally. Combined with the Auto Magic AI Adjusting 3.0 software suite (continuous autofocus, automatic 9-point keystone correction, obstacle detection and wall color adjustment), it ensures hassle-free installation to display an image from 65" (165 cm) to 300" (762 cm) diagonal.

Hisense C3 Pro: TriChroma source, CineBlack Pro and 5,000:1 contrast

The heart of the projector is built around the exclusive TriChroma technology, using a pure RGB triple-laser [abc]RVB[/abc] module coupled with a 0.47" [abc]DLP[/abc] matrix from Texas Instruments (with XPR4 wobulation to reconstruct an [abc]Ultra HD[/abc] [abc]4K[/abc] image). Brightness now reaches 3,000 lumens and color gamut coverage reaches 118% of the Rec.2020 space for a factory-rated Delta E of < 0.8. Another major new feature is the combined integration of a mechanical iris system and CineBlack Pro dynamic processing, raising native contrast to 5000:1 and guaranteeing much denser, more detailed blacks than on the previous generation. The image benefits from MEMC motion compensation and artificial-intelligence-driven video processing.

Hisense C3 Pro: comprehensive HDR and 2.1 audio Tuned by Devialet On the video side, the C3 Pro is flawless in supporting all extended dynamic range formats: [abc]HDR10[/abc], [abc]HDR HLG[/abc], [abc]HDR10+[/abc] and [abc]HDR Dolby Vision[/abc]. It also adds Filmmaker Mode, [abc]Imax Enhanced[/abc] certification and 3D support. The change is just as spectacular for audio playback: leaving JBL, Hisense has partnered with French specialist Devialet to design an integrated [abc]2.1[/abc] audio system (Tuned by Devialet). This supports Dolby Audio streams and DTS Virtual:X spatial processing to deliver a clearly improved bass foundation and sound clarity.

Hisense C3 Pro: 240 Hz gaming, Xbox Game Pass and Vidaa U9 interface Gamers benefit from an optimized game mode with Input Lag below 20 milliseconds. While 4K is supported up to 60 Hz, the projector accepts Full HD/QHD signals up to 240 hertz. Above all, the C3 Pro makes a strong impact with native integration of the Xbox Cloud Gaming app (via Xbox Game Pass) within the new Vidaa U9 interface, allowing play directly without a console. The system of course provides access to the main [abc]SVoD[/abc] platforms and voice controls (Vidaa Voice, Alexa). On the networking and sharing side, the C3 Pro is fully equipped with W[abc]i-Fi[/abc] 6E, [abc]Bluetooth[/abc] 5.3, [abc]AirPlay[/abc] and the [abc]DLNA[/abc] protocol.

The rear connectivity includes two [abc]HDMI[/abc] 2.1 inputs (one compatible with [abc]eARC[/abc]), two [abc]USB[/abc] 3.0 ports, an RJ45 [abc]Ethernet[/abc] network port, an [abc]optical[/abc] S/PDIF output and a 3.5 mm mini-jack socket. Finally, with operating noise limited to just 28 dB, the C3 Pro knows how to stay discreet.
