The German manufacturer Teufel unveils the second generation of its active Hi-Fi bookshelf speakers. Highly versatile, the Ultima 25 Active 2 (featuring FSC-certified wooden enclosures, therefore sourced from responsibly managed forests) include all the features of a true stereo system, combining digital radio with high-quality wireless streaming.
A true all-in-one [abc]Hi-Fi[/abc] solution for music lovers looking for compactness, this new Ultima 25 Active 2 version available starting today brilliantly succeeds the first generation. It stands out with enhanced wireless connectivity ([abc]Bluetooth[/abc] 5.0 APT-X and [abc]AAC[/abc]) and, now, its own remote control. Above all, it integrates the brand’s Dynamore Virtual Center technology, a formidable process for improving dialogue clarity when watching films and series, thus making it possible to listen to dematerialized music with the same efficiency as when powering the living room TV.
Teufel Ultima 25 Active 2, complete connectivity
With an output of 2 x 50 W RMS, the pair is equipped with an amplifier, a digital and analog [abc]DAB+[/abc] radio tuner (with memorized presets), as well as an [abc]HDMI[/abc] ARC connector for television, a [abc]USB[/abc]-C port for the computer, an [abc]optical[/abc] input and an auxiliary input on [abc]RCA[/abc]. Versatile, the Teufel Ultima 25 Active 2 can accommodate a turntable with built-in Phono preamp, a [abc]CD audio[/abc] player or a network player.

The speakers turn on with the TV and can be controlled with the television remote control. Finally, a Night mode is included. Also worth noting are touch transport buttons on the speaker and physical buttons next to an Oled display (with adjustable brightness) for selecting inputs and radio stations.

The Teufel Ultima 25 Active 2 are two-way models loaded in [abc]bass-reflex[/abc], each equipped with a 2.5 cm [abc]tweeter[/abc] with waveguide and a [abc]midrange[/abc]-[abc]woofer[/abc] with a woven fiberglass membrane fitted with a phase plug reducing phase shifts. The device also doubles as a sound card for PC or Mac (via USB-C). Wireless surround speakers and a subwoofer can be added, all wireless if needed, to configure a [abc]4.1[/abc] Home Cinema system. Also note M6 threaded inserts for wall or stand mounting.
