Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4: Samsung teams up with Activision and goes all out on HDR10 Gaming

While Samsung has just announced the rollout of the new HDR10+ Advanced standard to enhance video streaming, the manufacturer hasn't forgotten gamers. The Korean company has become the exclusive hardware partner for the highly anticipated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, integrating HDR10+ Gaming technology to push visual immersion to its limits.
Just a few days ago, Samsung and Amazon Prime Video announced with great fanfare the global launch of HDR10+ Advanced (see our news article HDR10+ Advanced on Prime Video and Samsung TVs: streaming reaches a new milestone). But the Korean manufacturer's HDR ecosystem doesn't intend to be limited exclusively to streaming movies and series. Samsung Electronics has become the exclusive official supplier (TVs, monitors, soundbars, and Wi-Fi speakers) for the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Similar to what the video format offers for films, this technology will boost color accuracy and optimize contrast levels in real time, guaranteeing a visual rendering perfectly faithful to the intentions of Activision's developers. Players will also be able to get a taste of the title at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne (August 26-30), where the game will be playable in the Samsung booth with codes for the Vault Edition distributed to some visitors.
