Stan Lee resurrected. Thanks to AI?

Stan Lee, one of Marvel Comics' most famous pillars and a fan of humorous cameos in almost every film, passed away in 2018, but he will continue to share his enthusiasm thanks to… generative AI. Yay!
Co-creator of Marvel's most famous characters (Spider-Man, to name just one), and an enthusiastic spokesperson for this universe, Stan Lee passed away in 2018, after appearing in almost every Marvel film through cameos we never tired of seeing. A golden voice. Rest in peace then, but actually not. Because, like other stars, his image and voice will continue to be used through generative artificial intelligence. While others categorically refuse, his heirs have sold this exploitation to the AI company ElevenLabs, which already owns the voices of actors like Michael Caine, Judy Garland, and David Hasselhoff. Stan Lee will notably be resurrected to create a series called Stan Lee Book Club of the Month, which will offer a new book read in his voice each month. The public will also be able to use his image to generate comic book panels. "Stan always believed in meeting his fans where they were: in the pages of a comic book, at a convention, or through a brief appearance on screen," said Chaz Rainey, attorney and member of the Stan Lee Universe board of directors. "This partnership is a way to continue that vision." Fans have always told us that when they read his comics, they hear the words in Stan's voice, and now, thanks to ElevenLabs, we can make that a reality.
