Rare video footage of the walkways of Apple Park, Apple's headquarters, where Paul McCartney gave a private concert for the company's 50th anniversary.
The festivities kicked off with an Alicia Keys concert at the New York Apple Store in early March, culminating in a performance by Paul McCartney at the brand's headquarters, Apple Park in Cupertino, on April 1st. All this, of course, for Apple's 50th anniversary, with a short video from the former Beatle showing us behind the scenes of his concert, including a quick tour of Apple Park with CEO Tim Cook (who recently announced his retirement; he will leave on August 31st and be replaced by John Ternus). "The Beatles are still going strong!" "This is an incredibly special day for us, our 50th anniversary, and we couldn't be happier to have Paul here to share it with us," said Cook. "We love the Beatles. We love the band itself. We love Paul." I can't imagine anyone better to celebrate this moment with us. As an aside, Apple founder Steve Jobs stated that he was deeply inspired by the teamwork of the Beatles.
