iPhone Ultra, the foldable phone's name is confirmed

Are we now certain that the first foldable iPhone to be released at the end of the year will be called the iPhone Ultra?
While the release of the very first foldable iPhone by the end of 2026 is now a certainty, some mysteries remain, notably the device's name. Apple is reportedly pushing the Ultra brand to distinguish its most advanced products. While the name iPhone Fold has been in contention since the first rumors surfaced a few years ago, the iPhone Ultra moniker emerged in the summer of 2025 and has been gaining traction ever since, a sign that it is circulating more or less officially among Asian component suppliers. Recently, further fueling the rumor mill has been the suspected intention of Apple to generalize the Ultra name for products superior to the Pro range. The iPhone Ultra is then mentioned in relation to the iPhone Pro, or the AirPods Ultra, which will be distinguished from the Pro models by the integration of an AI analytics camera. More recently, the Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station drives the point home, reporting that Asian accessory manufacturers have already adopted the name iPhone Ultra for the peripherals they intend to distribute, such as protective cases. The foldable iPhone will therefore almost certainly be called Ultra, or it won't be (or maybe not?).
