LG OLED77C6H and LG OLED83C6H OLED TVs, Hyper Radiant OLED Technology label and Alpha 11 Gen 3 chip
Another element therefore attracts attention, the new Hyper Radiant OLED Technology label. This is based on the new Brightness Booster Pro feature (which succeeds the Brightness Booster Ultimate that appeared in 2025 at LG) and not Brightness Booster Ultra as on the LG G6 and LG W6, on the presence of the new Alpha 11 Gen 3 chip (see our CES 26 news > LG OLED & Micro RGB TVs, powerful Alpha 11 Gen 3 processor on the menu) initially mentioned in our columns in a news item on the brand's new Micro RGB Evo TV series (see our CES 26 news > LG Micro RGB Evo TVs: LG MRGB85, LG MRGB9M and LG MRGB95 series), on the Tandem OLED panel and on the Reflection Free feature (reflectance measured at 0.5% for an anti-reflective performance twice as high as that of the LG G5 TVs). Regarding the other technical specifications in the photos, Perfect Black (up to 500 lux) and Perfect Color, these were already standard in 2025…
LG OLED77C6H and LG OLED83C6H OLED TVs, Tandem OLED 165 Hz perfect for gaming££££
The LG OLED77C6H and LG OLED83C6H televisions feature Tandem OLED panels (see our CES 26 news > LG Display announces the Tandem brand to strengthen its OLED leadership) with a native 165 Hz refresh rate (VRR 165 Hz). For gaming, the LG OLED77C6H and LG OLED83C6H are compatible with G-Sync and FreeSync Premium, in addition to Cloud Gaming support at 120 Hz up to Ultra HD 4K. The Ultra Low Latency Bluetooth protocol is also included, ideal for reducing latency in game controllers as well as connected headsets or mice. LG OLED77C6H and LG OLED83C6H OLED TVs, AI and Picture Modes The LG OLED77C6H and LG OLED83C6H TVs feature numerous new video processing technologies, most notably Dual Super Upscaling to enhance both the edges of on-screen elements and image textures (sky, sand, grass, etc.) for a sharper display and improved subtitle readability. Also worth mentioning is Ambient Filmmaker Mode, which, via the ambient light sensor, adjusts the image brightness while meticulously respecting the director's or cinematographer's vision. Finally, the AI HDR Remastering process is also new and offers HDR rendering to SDR content via a boost in contrast and sharpness.
LG OLED77C6H and LG OLED83C6H OLED TVs, AI Object Remastering and Gemini
In 2026, LG C6 OLED TVs are designed for wall mounting very close to the wall, and this applies to all screen sizes. In terms of sound, the AI Sound Pro function allows the creation of an 11.1.2 virtual sound environment, while the AI Object Remastering process, based on Deep Learning, isolates the different components of a soundtrack—dialogue, music, and effects—to perform specific equalization of each and preserve, for example, the clarity of voices even during action scenes overflowing with spectacular audio effects.
LG C6 TVs: LG Sound Suite compatibility and new audio features
Similarly, LG C6 TVs can be integrated into an LG Sound Suite audio system (see our CES 26 news > LG Sound Suite 13.1.7 Dolby Atmos Flex Connect: revolutionary soundbar) composed of four wireless speakers (M5 or M7) to enjoy a Dolby Atmos FlexConnect configuration. Finally, LG C6 TVs automatically recognize the type of content being displayed (movie, sports, news) and adjust the equalizer accordingly: voices are boosted during news broadcasts or talk shows, and a good balance is offered with movies. On the webOS side, Gemini should soon complement Copilot. Native support for Zigbee and Thread protocols is also included (LG acquired Homey).
Other C6 screen sizes: OLED Evo EX and refresh rate to be confirmed
At the time of writing, LG Electronics has not released the technical specifications for the other screen sizes in the LG C6 series. The LG OLED42C6, LG OLED48C6, LG OLED55C6, and LG OLED65C6 models are likely equipped with a standard OLED Evo EX panel. The refresh rate of this panel remains to be seen: 165 Hz, as with the 77" and 83" models, or 144 Hz, as with the LG C5. However, we do know that the Alpha 11 Gen 3 processor is still included, guaranteeing slightly increased brightness thanks to its significantly higher processing power compared to last year's C5 models.
Availability is expected from mid-May. Suggested retail prices: • €1,299 for the LG OLED42C6 • €1,499 for the LG OLED48C6 • €1,899 for the LG OLED55C6 • €2,499 for the LG OLED65C6 • €3,499 for the LG OLED77C6 • €4,999 for the LG OLED83C6
