Star Wars: $700,000 for C-3PO's head?

A new auction of more or less legendary props that have graced film sets, including unique pieces from the Star Wars movies, has been announced.
The most cowardly of the Star Wars droids, C-3PO, is definitely a hot commodity. After his foot was auctioned off last year, it's now his head that's going under the hammer. Auction from March 25th to 27th: get your credit card ready! The prop comes specifically from The Empire Strikes Back and is so rare that it's estimated to fetch between $350,000 and $700,000. The sale will take place as part of an auction organized by Propstore from March 25th to 27th, where more than 1,300 lots from films and television series will be offered. Of course, there won't only be items from the Star Wars universe, although we can't help but mention Luke Skywalker's lightsaber from Episode VII of the saga, estimated at between $50,000 and $100,000—so much less than the one used by Darth Vader in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, which sold last year for a record $3.6 million.
