Awol Vision has officially opened pre-orders for its new Aetherion series, unveiled at CES 2026 (see our CES 26 news > The ultra-short-throw projector war is brewing: Awol presents its Aetherion Pro and Max), via a Kickstarter campaign that began on February 10, 2026. The manufacturer promises nothing less than "the world's sharpest image with a triple laser ultra-short-throw (UST) projector," with particularly aggressive discounts for early backers, up to nearly $5,500.
If you followed our live coverage of CES 2026 in Las Vegas, you know that the Aetherion series is clearly targeting the premium home theater market, with Ultra HD 4K projection up to 200 inches, made possible by the new PixelLock optical system designed to "preserve sharpness at the pixel level, even with a large-scale image." Awol Vision Aetherion Max and Aetherion Pro Kickstarter prices: According to the brand, backers will be able to purchase the Aetherion Pro for $1,999 (down from $3,499) and the Aetherion Max for $2,199 (down from $4,499). Awol Vision also announced exclusive Kickstarter bundles, with savings of up to $5,497, or 58% off: • The Ultimate Cinematic Immersion Bundle, priced at $3,999 (down from $899), includes an Aetherion Max, a 132" (335 cm) screen, and the ThunderBeat 4.1.2 audio system. • Even more ambitious, the Grand Vanish TV Masterpiece Bundle, offered at $8,999 (down from $14,496), combines the Aetherion Max with a 130" (330 cm) motorized ALR screen, the new 130" Vanish TV stand, and the same ThunderBeat 4.1.2 audio system. Free shipping is planned for launch day in select countries. The first deliveries are expected in April 2026, just in time for major events. Spring sports.
After the success of its Valerion brand, which raised over $10 million on Kickstarter, Awol Vision is applying the same strategy to Aetherion, and success is once again on the cards with funding exceeding $11.1 million at the time of writing. So, will you be tempted?
