Golden Globes: Clash of the Demon Slayers

Two wins for the inevitable K-pop hit Demon Hunters at the recent Golden Globes, starting with Best Original Song for Golden of course, which buried the serious competition offered by films like Wicked or Sinners. Who will make more money than all the big Marvel and DC movies of 2025? The other award – and not the least – is that of Best Animated Feature, well deserved for the Sony/Netflix feature, which beat another film with a similar theme, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle. A battle not necessarily won in advance, as Demon Slayer is the most profitable Japanese animated film of all time, the first to surpass 100 billion yen internationally (approximately 544 million euros), which is more than all the major Marvel and DC films combined by 2025. More than just a commercial success, Demon Slayer is a gem of the genre, even if it's worth noting that this film serves as the beginning of the final season for a series that started in 2019. And we highly recommend it.
