Top AVcesar: the technologies of the (not so distant) future

In this first month of the year, here's an overview of the most significant technologies unveiled in 2025 that are expected to materialize in the coming years (or even today for some).
As soon as a prototype or technology is unveiled, we rush to tell you about it. To celebrate the end of the year, here's a small selection of our favorite technologies of the future (some of which are already available!), in no particular order. Click on the link to access the corresponding news item and learn more. And if you missed it, take a look at the 2024 selection. • We'll start with this speaker that's already available, almost flat, and you assemble it yourself. Amazing, right? • Still on the topic of sound, but with an eye on the future, with the possibility of smartphones one day becoming the norm… subwoofers. • Still on the mobile theme, with the very first foldable screen for e-readers, bringing us even closer to the "book" aspect. • Let's stay in the realm of mobile folding, which has already given us the double section, and even the triple section. And guess what? Samsung is seriously considering a foldable smartphone… in four!

• And speaking of folding, here's the robot that folds… laundry, of course

• So, we understand that robotics will be the big topic in the coming years. Even Apple is getting involved

• And the Chinese too, with the robot that does… kung fu

• And from kung fu to kickboxing, it's just a small step (to the face)

• Besides entertaining us, robots will also help us. For example, robotics is being used to power this wheel-less wheelchair

• And if the world ever heads towards cyberpunk, Nike has you covered with these shoes that make you run faster

• The future means space. First stop, the Moon, where Nokia plans to install the essential 4G network

• And space again to finish, with – in the name of ecology – the launching of data centers into orbit, a crazy project by Amazon
