CES 26 > Samsung R95H and Samsung R85H Micro RGB TVs: Specifications Update

We now know a little more about the specifications of the Samsung R95H and Samsung R85H Micro RGB TV series, which were presented in our pages two weeks ago (see our CES 26 news > Samsung Micro RGB TVs: R95H and R85H series from 55" to 130" (330 cm!)) and are scheduled for release in 2026.

After a first 115" model launched this year 2025, Samsung is extending its Micro RGB technology via a new family of diffusers offered in 55", 65", 75", 85", 98", 100", 115" (the already known MR95F) and 130 inches. To be precise, the Samsung R95H series will include five models: the new Samsung 65R95H (65"), Samsung 75R95H (75"), Samsung 85R95H (85"), Samsung 115MR95F (115"), unveiled at IFA Berlin last September), and Samsung 130R95H (130", 330 cm). The Samsung R85H series, meanwhile, comprises the Samsung 55R85H, Samsung 65R85H, Samsung 75R85H, Samsung 85R85H, and Samsung 100R85H. Unless there are unforeseen circumstances, as already mentioned in our previous article, the 98" and 130" models will not be available in France. The Korean manufacturer's objective is clear: to establish a new category of ultra-premium TVs, equally at home as an XXL wall-mounted cinema screen in a home theater or as a high-end "compact" model. A more discreet option for a living room.

Samsung R95H/R85H Micro RGB TV, AI processing and BT.2020 ££££ On the technical side, the brand reminds us that Micro RGB relies on red, green, and blue LEDs less than 100 µm in size, each emitting its own light, for ultra-precise backlight control and increased color accuracy. This is all supported by the 4K AI Upscaling Pro and AI Motion Enhancer Pro algorithms, responsible for refining brightness, ensuring the fluidity of the displayed signal (smoothing panning movements, for example), and precisely managing the sharpness of the displayed image, all in real time.

A new Micro RGB AI Engine Pro processing also makes its appearance, based on a latest-generation AI chip capable of analyzing video frame by frame. This The processor integrates features such as Micro RGB Color Booster Pro and Micro RGB HDR Pro, delivering a more impactful HDR image and color accuracy that approaches a "close to reality" perception. Specifically, Samsung Micro RGB TVs support the new HDR10+ Advanced format (see our article HDR10+ Advanced: Samsung's response to Dolby Vision 2 HDR, Prime Video supports...). Samsung also highlights the Micro RGB Precision Color 100 feature, which uses triplets of high-quality RGB diodes for unprecedented light purity and an optimized backlighting system for each LED to ensure 100% coverage of the BT.2020 color gamut, certified by the German VDE. Samsung Micro RGB TV R95H/R85H: Vision AI Companion, Glare Fee anti-reflective technology, and Eclipse technology. Audio Beyond the picture, Samsung is capitalizing on its in-house AI portal, now grouped under the name Vision AI Companion. This multi-agent AI interface (Copilot and soon Perplexity) combines an LLM interface with the Bixby voice assistant to offer conversational searches, interactive Q&A, proactive recommendations, and access to features like Live Translate, Click to Search, and Generative Wallpaper (dynamic creation of wallpapers tailored to your tastes). The new Samsung Micro RGB R95H and Samsung R85H TVs also benefit from the brilliant Glare Free anti-reflective filter, already seen on some ranges (see our review of the Samsung TQ55S95F TV by clicking on the reference), to enjoy a quality picture regardless of ambient lighting conditions, for example, a room with many windows on a sunny day. The audio section of these TVs ensures compatibility Dolby Atmos offers the brand's Adaptive Sound Pro features (to adapt the sound output to the room and the type of content) and Q-Symphony to combine the TV's speakers with those of compatible Samsung soundbars. New to the lineup is Eclipsa Audio (see our CES 25 news > Google's Eclipsa Audio, a competitor to Dolby Atmos, in 2025 Samsung TVs and soundbars), which is included on the Samsung Micro RGB R95H and Samsung R85H TV series, as it is on all Samsung TV series in the 2026 range. Finally, a Zero Gap Wall Mount is available for the Samsung Micro RGB R95H and Samsung R85H TVs, allowing for a perfectly flush fit against the wall. Samsung Micro RGB R95H TV: Wireless One Connect Ready. New on Samsung displays. The R95H features the Wireless One Connect Ready label. This allows you to connect wired or wireless sources to these TVs, or even some wired and others wireless. All combinations are possible for total flexibility.
