iPhone XX, a crazy screen in 2027

LG Display is already working on the special display for the 2027 iPhone, which will celebrate the product's 20th anniversary with a remarkable design.
Rumors circulating for some time now predict an iPhone with an innovative design for the smartphone's twentieth anniversary, due to its release in 2027, notably the absence of bezels around the OLED screen, which would therefore wrap around all four sides of the device. LG Display is already heavily involved in the iPhone's manufacturing. According to the Korean media outlet DealSite, Apple is working with Samsung Display and LG Display on this screen. LG is apparently heavily involved, as the company has reportedly already ordered the equipment for manufacturing this component. Curved on all four edges, the screen requires a special manufacturing process to bend the circuits, but also to reduce the thickness of the encapsulating film (TFE) that protects the organic diodes from moisture and oxygen. With this design, Apple hopes to give the illusion that the device is just a screen, without any visible edges.
